Is this product similar to old Phi Pain Relief?

Why did product Number.7 start to turn brownish or cristallizes, and is it still usable?

- This product reacts to changes in temperature simply by leaving it at a warm or cold temperature for some time. Although the color changes or crystallization the effectiveness of the product does not change and it can continue to be used. It is recommended to store the product in the dark and cool place. If it crystallizes, keep the bottle in warm hands until it liquefies.
